Peer Review Process

Imajeri: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia conducts a double-blind assessment conducted by at least two independent reviewers. The results of the review are in the form of a final acceptance/rejection decision by the editor in chief or other academic editors approved by the editor in chief. In addition to this, the editor-in-chief is also responsible for the approval of guest editors, special issue topics, and new editorial board members.

In processing manuscripts that are submitted to the radaksi table, the managing editor of the journal will conduct an initial check, namely the suitability of the received manuscript. When appropriate, the manuscript is then set up for a peer-review process conducted by independent experts and submits at least two review reports per manuscript (Double-blind). The results of this review are then given to the author to be revised according to expert input before the article gets a final decision. The final decision by the editor is made based on the recommendations of experts in the categories:

We asked our authors for adequate revisions (with the second round of peer review if necessary) before a final decision was made. The final decision is made by the Editor. Each submitted article will be reviewed independently by two peer reviewers (Double-blind). Decisions for publication, amendment, or rejection are based on their reports/recommendations. After review, there will be four types of editor's decision based on the reviewer recommendation:

> Accept Submissions: acceptance of submissions without revision.

> Required revisions: acceptance of submissions with minor revisions.

> Resubmit for Review: acceptance of submissions with resubmission, but with significant changes, submissions may be accepted. This will require a second round of review.

> Resubmit Elsewhere: article rejection because the substance of the article is not by the field of science.

> Refuse Submission: refusal of a manuscript to be published in a journal.

> View Comments: see feedback from reviewers for the Editor.

The results of the review articles by reviewers will be notified to the author via email. Authors are allowed to revise their articles based on the suggestions of reviewers (and editors) no later than 10 weeks after the email notification.

All submitted articles will be checked for authenticity to prevent plagiarism by using the Plagiarism Checker anti-plagiarism software, Turnitin
