Welcome to Islamic Economics Journal, published by the Islamic Banking Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA.
Starting from the 2024 edition, the journal has implemented a new article template. Therefore, all authors who have submitted or uploaded manuscripts to our journal are kindly requested to revise and adjust their manuscripts according to the new template.

After adjusting your manuscript to the new template, please ensure that it complies with the following requirements:
Articles must be written in English using a reliable language editing or proofreading service.
The Turnitin similarity index must be below 20%.
The research scope must align with the journal’s aims and scope.
Citations and references must be managed using Mendeley or Zotero.
The manuscript must include at least one co-author affiliated with an institution outside Indonesia (may be listed as the last author).
The manuscript must cite at least two articles previously published in the Islamic Economics Journal.
The manuscript must include a minimum of 30 references.
Furthermore, based on the decision of the faculty leadership and in support of the journal’s accreditation upgrade to SINTA 3, publication in this journal will be subject to an article processing fee starting from Issue 2025, Volume 16, Number 2.
