As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Articles submitted for publication must comply with the following requirements:

  1. Scope and Originality
    The manuscript must be original and directly related to the field of Islamic Economics and Islamic Banking.

  2. Template Compliance
    Authors must prepare their manuscripts strictly according to the official article template provided on this journal’s website.

  3. Publication Status
    Submitted manuscripts must never have been published previously and must not be under review or consideration for publication in any other journal.

  4. Types of Articles Accepted
    The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

    • Empirical research articles

    • Survey-based studies

    • Conceptual or analytical papers

    • Book reviews

  5. Research Approach
    Quantitative research articles are prioritised. Qualitative studies are also accepted, provided they employ clear, systematic, and well-structured research procedures.

  6. Language Requirement
    All manuscripts must be written in clear and proper English.

  7. Submission Format and Platform
    Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format and submitted directly through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) submission system.
    Authors who need assistance may consult available tutorials on YouTube (e.g., OJS 3 submission tutorials).

  8. Editorial Rights
    The editorial team reserves the right to edit and revise the manuscript for clarity, formatting, and language without altering the substance or meaning of the content.

  9. Manuscript Structure
    Articles must be organised sequentially as follows:

    • Title

    • Author name(s) and affiliation(s)

    • Abstract

    • Keywords

    • Main content (introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion)

    • Bibliography / References

  10. Title Format
    The title must be concise, informative, and no longer than 12 words.

  11. Citation and Reference Style
    All in-text citations and references must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) Style.
    Authors are required to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero to ensure citation accuracy and consistency.
