PKM Pemberdayaan Ibu dan kader Posyandu Melalui Aplikasi N’care dalam Mencegah Stunting di Posyandu Intan Putih, Kejawan Putih Tambak Surabaya

Abstrak

Background: Stunting is a condition where a child's weight and height do not match age standards. Several factors that cause stunting are lack of nutritional intake, poor hygiene and sanitation, and disease infections. Stunting is a complex problem; apart from hindering children's growth and development, stunting can also have an impact on the country's economic productivity, increasing degenerative diseases. The government is still developing various ways to prevent and overcome stunting in several regions. Posyandu is one of the government's front lines in efforts to eradicate stunting. The partner of this PKM program is Posyandu Intan Putih Kejawan Putih Tambak, Surabaya. Posyandu cadres experience various obstacles, such as the difficulty of socializing nutrition and the dangers of stunting posyandu participants, as well as discrepancies in administrative data on stunting survivors. Administrative activities are still carried out manually and are considered ineffective. Method: The method of implementing this program consists of 5 stages, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage, monitoring and evaluation stage, preparation of activity implementation reports, and program sustainability. Results: This PKM program presents the website and Android-based N'Care application as an effective and efficient alternative solution. Conclusions: The N'Care application can be a database storage medium for posyandu participants and stunting organizers. The N'Care application is also equipped with educational material about mothers and children, which can help posyandu cadres and participants learn independently.
