Abstract

Background: Indonesia sudah mengadopsi program Profilaksis Pra Pajanan sejak tahun 2021 dan sudah dilaksanakan di 10 Propinsi dan 22 Kabupaten. Profilaksis Pra Pajanan (PrEP) merupkan metode pencegahan biomedis HIV yang aman dan sangat efektif ketika penggunanya patuh sepenuhnya. Profilaksis pra pajanan terbukti mengurangi risiko infeksi HIV sebesar 51%. Metode: Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang digunakan adalah Pretest, penyuluhan, diskusi kelompok, dan sesi tanya jawab serta Posttest. Karaketristik peserta berdasarkan usia memiliki rata-rata usia peserta 34.44 tahun dengan usia paling muda 18 tahun dan usia peserta paling tua 54 tahun, dan mayoristas LSL sebanyak 89.5%. Hasil: Uji T Dependen menunjukkan nilai p 0.0001 < 0.05. Hal ini menunjukkan ada kenaikan skor secara siginfikan dari peserta. Efek penyuluhan berpengaruh dalam peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Kesimpulan: Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilakukan berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang PreP. Penggunaan PreP sangat ditekankan bagi mereka yang berisiko tinggi dan negatif HIV seperti Lelalki seksusal lelaki, pekerjan seks perempuan dan transgender guna mencegah infeksi HIV baru.
