The aim of this research is to find the effects of student facilitator and explaining model assisted to the student’s mathematics communication ability. The research was held in 222 Junior High School Jakarta in VII class at the even semester of the school year 2017/2018. This research used quasi experimental design method. Sample of this research are 72 students with 36 students of experiment class and 36 students of control class. The sample’s interpretation using convenience sampling. An instrument was tested the validity and reliability produce an instrument valid and reliabel. The result of validity with Product Moment exist 8 valid of 8 question test. The result of reliability with Alpha Cronbach’s is reliabel. The results of the hypothesis test was using Mann Whitney with standard 0,05 and accessible so that rejected H0. The result of this research concluded that the effects of student facilitator and explaining model assisted student mathematics communication ability. Increased obtained in middle category amounted to 0,364. This means there is influence was using student facilitator and explaining model assisted to the student’s mathematics communication ability.
