THE EFFECT OF ONLINE LEARNING IN PANDEMIC TIMES ON LEARNING MOTIVATION

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused education to change drastically. Education in Indonesia has also been affected by the covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of learning that was originally carried out face-to-face or offline was forced to switch to online learning. Online learning offers many advantages, one of which is communicating without being limited by distance, place, and time. However, the implementation of online learning that is too long turns out to have an impact on student learning motivation. Long time makes students become bored because almost every day they have to sit in front of devices such as smartphones, laptops, and so on to access online learning. This is a topic that needs to be discussed because learning motivation greatly affects the quality of education. The purpose of this research is to find out how the student's learning motivation after carrying out learning for a long time. The research was conducted using the literature study method, the author only wrote down the results of the analysis from existing sources or literature. The results of the analysis show that the majority of students are saturated with online learning.
