The purpose of this study was to determine the value of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) using the Gaussian distribution in Surah Al-Fatihah and to determine the similarity of the sound signal. This research was conducted independently at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. Hamka in the period between October 2021 to January 2022. In the data collection process using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method and processing using the Gaussian Distribution method. The data taken are standard data and validation data where standard data is the reference data used, while validation data is a sample that is tested for signal similarity with standard data. The results of this study showed that Data Validation 1 and Validation 6 had similar FFT signals, Validation 3, 4 and 5 had moderate signal similarity and Validation 2 had no signal similarity.
