Abstract
Background: Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang serius di Indonesia dan erat kaitannya dengan kondisi kesehatan ibu selama kehamilan, termasuk kebugaran fisik. Rendahnya kapasitas VO₂Max pada ibu hamil dapat menghambat distribusi oksigen dan nutrisi ke janin, yang berpotensi memicu gangguan pertumbuhan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan pekerjaan rumah tangga sebagai bentuk aktivitas fisik yang aman bagi ibu hamil guna meningkatkan kebugaran dan mencegah stunting Metode: Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendidikan masyarakat, pelatihan, konsultasi, advokasi, dan difusi ipteks. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner Skala Borg dan pengukuran VO₂Max serta SpO₂ sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata VO₂Max dari 31,18 menjadi 34,28 ml/kg/menit, penurunan Skala Borg dari 15–18 menjadi 6–8, serta peningkatan saturasi oksigen. Kesimpulan: Optimalisasi pekerjaan rumah tangga terbukti efektif meningkatkan kebugaran ibu hamil yang berdampak positif pada upaya pencegahan stunting.
