Author Guidelines

 Journal of Language Learning and Research accepts articles resulting from research or critical analytical studies (invited authors) in the field of mathematics education that have never been published. The manuscript is typed using the Word program, Times New Roman font, font size 12, using A4 paper with top, bottom, left and right borders of 2.5 cm each.

  1. Manuscripts are sent online via OJS Journal of Language Learning and Research di https://journal.uhamka.ac.id/index.php/jollar.

  3. All authors in the article must be listed/typed in OJS when filling in "authors' in the article submission process.

  5. Articles are written in Indonesian. The distance between lines is 1.5 spaces. The beginning of each paragraph is indented to the right about 5 beats.

  7. Systematics of research articles: Title, Author Identity (Name, Agency, and Email), Abstract accompanied by Keywords, Introduction, Method, Research Results, Discussion, Conclusion, dan

  9. Judul Artikel tidak lebih dari 14 kata, diketik di tengah-tengah (center), mengunakan Times New Romandengan ukuran huruf 14 pt, dan ditulis tebal (bold), dan Capitalize Each Word.

Author Identity: full name without academic degree (if there is more than one author, then all authors' names are included along with the institution of origin of each author) using Times New Roman with a font size of 12 pt, and written in bold. Meanwhile, the email listed is only the email of the first author or corresponding author.

  13. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English using 1 space accompanied by 3-7 words or phrases of Keywords (written alphabetically), using Times New Roman with a font size of 11 pt. The length of the Indonesian abstract is between 150-200 words (English abstract adjusts). The abstract is written in one paragraph which contains a minimum of research objectives, methods and results. Abstracts and keywords entered in OJS are abstracts and keywords in English.

  15. The introduction at least contains the issue underlying the research, response to the issue, previous research, novelty of the research, and research objectives. All sections in this introduction are presented in an integrated manner in the form of paragraphs without writing subtitles.
  16. The method contains research design, research procedures, data sources, research instruments, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques.

  18. Hasil Penelitian berisi paparan hasil penelitian yang telah diolah oleh penulis.

  20. Discussion contains a discussion of research results which are explained and analyzed in depth how research results have an impact and are linked to theories or other research results so that the novelty of the research results appears.

  22. Conclusions contain research findings in answering research questions. Conclusions are described in paragraphs, do not use numbering or bullets.

  24. References contain all references referred to in the article text sorted alphabetically and typed with 1 space. References used in at least 80% of articles in the journal. Authors must also input all references used in OJS. Writing citations and references follows the rules of APA Style and it is best to use a Reference Manager such as Mendeley. Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The Manuscript has not been published or is not in the process of submission for publication to other media and does not contain elements of plagiarism, and enclosing written statement from the author.
  2. The Manuscript is written in Indonesian or English using the manuscript template of Journal of Language Learning and Research  (click here)
  3. The length of the Manuscript is at least 6000 words (about 14 pages) and does not exceed 7000 words (approximately 20 pages) including drawings, graphs/tables (if any) and bibliography.
  4. The Manuscript should enclose the abstracts in English and Indonesian.
  5. The paper is submitted in Ms. Word.
