Abstract
Background: Real Time PCR merupakan metode yang diakui secara cepat dan akurat mendeteksi infeksi COVID-19. Untuk mempercepat penanganan Covid-19 dengan melaksanakan pemeriksaan Real time PCR seiring dengan era adaptasi kebiasaan baru khususnya di Kota Cimahi. Metode: Peningkatan kapasitas SDM dalam melakukan pemeriksaan PCR dengan mengikuti pelatihan daring yang diselenggarakan oleh Pusat Litbang Biomedis dan Teknologi Dasar Kesehatan, Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19/BNPB, Organisasi profesi Perguruan Tinggi serta BBKPM Bandung. Hasil: Cakupan pelayanan pemeriksaan PCR specimen dari Kota Cimahi di Tahun 2020 sampai 2 Agustus 2021 sebesar 5,95 %. Tercapainya target hasil dapat diselesaikan maksimal 2 x 24 jam serta input data All record TC-19 100%. Kesimpulan: Laboratorium Biomolekuler Poltekkes Kemenkes Bandung telah membantu mengatasi permasalahan mitra berkenaan dengan keterbatasan laboratorium pemeriksaan yang memiliki standar kualifikasi Biosafety laboratory level 2, untuk penanganan COVID-19 lebih baik.
