Abstract
Background: Permasalahan pengelolaan sampah di Kabupaten Sidoarjo masih menjadi isu serius, terutama abu hasil pembakaran sampah rumah tangga yang belum termanfaatkan dan berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah (PCM) Candi melalui pemanfaatan abu pembakaran sampah sebagai bahan substitusi pembuatan batako ramah lingkungan, sekaligus meningkatkan kapasitas literasi digital dalam pemasaran produk. Metode: Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat pada setiap tahapan program, mulai dari identifikasi masalah, perancangan kegiatan, pelatihan produksi batako, pemasaran digital, hingga tahap evaluasi. Sebanyak 60 partisipan terlibat dalam kegiatan ini, terdiri atas anggota PCM Candi, masyarakat sekitar, serta dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Keberhasilan program diukur melalui peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam formulasi bahan, pencetakan batako, serta pengelolaan promosi digital. Hasil: Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memproduksi batako ramah lingkungan dan memanfaatkan abu pembakaran sampah sebagai bahan substitusi. Produk yang dihasilkan dimanfaatkan untuk pembangunan SD Muhammadiyah 1 Candi. Pelatihan literasi digital juga mendorong promosi dan penjualan produk melalui media sosial dan website, sehingga tujuan pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis limbah tercapai. Kesimpulan: Dengan demikian, program ini berkontribusi pada pengurangan pencemaran lingkungan, peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat, dan pembentukan usaha berkelanjutan berbasis limbah.
