Abstract

Background: Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memetakan situs cagar budaya yang ada di Kabupaten Kerinci dan Sungai Penuh menggunakan arcGIS bertujuan melestarikan warisan sejarah sekaligus meningkatkan aksesbilitas masyarakat. Metode: Kegiatan ini menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR), dengan langkah, (1) koordinasi dengan Dinas Pariwisata, (2) analisis kebutuhan dan perancangan peta digital, (3) penentuan titik lokasi, dan (4) pelatihan GIS bagi pemangku kepentingan. Hasil: Kegiatan ini menghasilkan dashboard interaktif yang menampilkan sebaran 18 situs cagar budaya (77,78% terawat, 11,11% rusak) serta rute wisata. Dampak kegiatan meliputi peningkatan kapasitas SDM pemerintah dalam pengelolaan situs, mempermudah akses kunjungan wisatawan dan kesadaran masyarakat akan nilai sejarah. Kesimpulan: Pengabdian ini membantu mengatasi masalah situs cagar budaya yang kurang dikenal dan membuat lebih mudah bagi para wisatawan untuk mencapai lokasi tempat bersejarah di Kerinci dan Sungai Penuh.
