Abstrak

Background: A contract is a right and obligation arising from an agreement. In this case, teachers from the Yayasan Cahaya Harapan Papua received training on contract law entitled Contract Law for Human Resources. The goal is for teachers to understand their rights and obligations in the form of work contracts between teachers and schools, agreements between schools and parents of students, and various other forms of commitment. Method: Using zoom media with a case study approach that focuses on how to formulate and make good agreements. Teachers received training to understand each type of agreement that aims to create a good understanding for teachers in carrying out their duties as teachers. Results: This training was delivered directly by a lecturer from the Trisakti School of Management (STIE Trisakti): Mr. Dr. Ian Nurpatria Suryawan, S.E., S.H., S.I.P., S.A.P., M.M. The training was attended by a total of 15 teachers from the Yayasan Cahaya Harapan Papua who actively participated during the training session. It was proven that through the training attended, the teachers were able to understand the legal aspects of contracts and understand their rights and obligations as teachers. Conclusion: Every teacher must understand their rights and obligations as a teacher, namely being able to help respond to and resolve conflicts that may arise with students, parents, or the school.
