Abstract
Latar Belakang: Kanker merupakan salah satu penyakit yang menyumbang angka kesakitan dan kematian terbanyak pada populasi dunia di dunia termasuk pada remaja. Peningkatan ini disebabkan oleh adanya pergeseran perilaku masyarakat ke gaya hidup menetap dan kurang aktivitas fisik, sehingga pendidikan kesehatan perlu untuk dilakukan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melakukan pencegahan risiko kanker melalui edukasi perilaku menetap dan aktivitas fisik pada remaja putri. Metode: metode kegiatan menggunakan pendidikan masyarakat melalui media poster selama 75 menit di Rumah Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras Malaysia. Hasil: Mayoritas peserta adalah remaja putri usia 11 – 18 tahun. Sebelum diberikan edukasi peserta melaporkan lebih sering melakukan perilaku menetap seperti berbaring dan duduk dibandingkan berolahraga, dengan kategori memiliki pengetahuan cukup (50%). Setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan, peserta menyampaikan telah memahami tentang perilaku menetap dan kategori aktivitas fisik, dengan mayoritas dalam kategori pengetahuan baik (67,6%). Peserta mau untuk melakukan perubahan dalam peningkatan aktivitas fisik Kesimpulan: adanya perubahan pengetahuan remaja tentang perilaku menetap dan aktivitas fisi, serta remaja lebih mengerti dan mau melakukan peningkatan aktivitas fisik dan mengurangi perilaku menetap, guna mengurangi risiko kanker.
