Abstract
Background: Club Faster Sepatu Roda Sidoarjo memiliki peran vital dalam mengembangkan bakat atlet sepatu roda di kalangan anak-anak dan remaja usia 6-17 tahun. Dengan 29 anggota yang terbagi menjadi pemula, standar, dan speed, klub ini menjadi tempat utama bagi penggemar olahraga sepatu roda di Sidoarjo. Namun, risiko cedera tetap menjadi tantangan besar yang dapat menghambat perkembangan atlet muda. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran akan pencegahan cedera di kalangan wali atlet memperburuk situasi ini. Pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan kesadaran wali atlet tentang pencegahan cedera olahraga dengan metode PRICE (Protection, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) dan HARM (Heat, Alcohol, Running, Massage) serta melakukan screening bakat atlet sepatu roda melalui pengukuran antropometri. Metode: Program ini menggunakan metode Community Development, dengan melibatkan anggota klub, wali atlet, dan para atlet sebagai subjek aktif. Dari total 29 atlet yang terdaftar di Club Faster Sidoarjo, mayoritas atau lebih dari setengahnya adalah atlet dalam rentang usia 6-10 tahun. Hasil: Mayoritas atlet (80%) adalah perempuan, dan 83% memiliki tekanan darah normal. Kesimpulan: Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran akan pencegahan cedera dan membantu mengidentifikasi potensi bakat atlet, yang diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan kemampuan dan kesehatan mereka.
