Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Bimbingan Konseling dan Motivasi Belajar terhadap Pilihan Peminatan Siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey kausal, dengan teknik analisis jalur. Populasi sebanyak 750 siswa, sampel berjumlah 238 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif Bimbingan Konseling terhadap Pilihan Peminatan. 2) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif Motivasi Belajar terhadap Pilihan Peminatan. 3) terdapat pengaruh positif Bimbingan Konseling terhadap Motivasi Belajar. Implikasinya, Pilihan Peminatan Siswa dapat dicapai secara optimal dengan cara meningkatkan Bimbingan Konseling dan Motivasi Belajar.
This study aims to determine the effect of counselling guidance and learning motivation on the students’ interest choices. The method used is a causal survey, with path analysis technique. Population consists of 750 students, with a sample of 238 students. The results show that: 1) there are significant positive effects of counselling guidance on the students’ interest choices; 2) there is a positive effect of learning motivation on the students’ interest choices; 3) there is a positive effect of counselling guidance on the learning Motivation. Based on the above research findings, Interest choices of the eleventh grade students will be achieved by increasing the counselling guidance and learning motivation.
