Abstrak

The purpose of the research was to analyze the effect of cooperative learning model group investigation to the student’s ability of mathematical critical thinking. The research was held on 108 Junior High School Jakarta in academic year at 2017/2018. The research used quasi experimental method, involving 72 as the sample. The samples using cluster random sampling. The result showed that there was the effect of cooperative learning model group investigation to the student’s ability of mathematical critical thinking with the low level of the effect size. It can be seen from the average value if the student’s test result ability of mathematical critical thinking who were taught by cooperative learning model group investigation higher than the average value of the students test result ability of mathematical critical thinking who weren’t taught by cooperative learning model group investigation
