Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) Perbedaan prestasi belajar IPA antara siswa yang diajar pakai strategi game dengan konvensional. 2) Pengaruh interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. 3) Perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang diajar pakai strategi game dan konvensional pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, 4) Perbedaa hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang diajar pakai strategi game dan konvensional pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi meliputi siswa SMPN se Kecematan Kembangan, sampel 72 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara siswa yang diajar pakai strategi game dengan  konvensional. 2) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA. 3) Terdapat perbedaam hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar pakai strategi game dengan konvensional pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi. 4) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa yang diajar pakai strategi game dan konvensional pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah.


 


The research aims to analyze: 1) Differences in learning achievement of Natural Sciences among students who were taught by the strategy of games and by the conventional one; 2) An interaction effect between learning strategies and learning motivation toward Natural Science Achievement; 3) Differences in learning achievement between the students taught by using the strategies of games and the conventional strategy for the students with high learning motivation; and 4) Differences in learning achievement between the students taught by using the strategies of game and the conventional one for the students with low learning motivation. The research uses an experimental method. The population includes students of SMPN in Kecamatan Kembangan with a sample of 72 students. The results showed: 1) There are significant differences in learning achievement between the students taught by using the strategies of games and conventional strategies; 2) There is an interaction effect between learning strategies and learning motivation toward Natural Science learning achievement; 3) There are differences of learning achievement between students who were taught using the strategies of game and the conventional strategies for the students with high learning motivation. 4) There are significant differences in learning achievement between students taught using the strategies of games and the conventional strategies for the students with low learning motivation.
