Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung ditinjau dari kemampuan awal siswa. Populasi target dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung Kabupaten Lebak sebanyak 757 siswa dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 80 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) Terdapat pengaruh positif penggunaan metode pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung, (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif kemampuan awal siswa terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung, (3) Terdapat interaksi antara penggunaan metode pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning dan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung.


 


This study aims to determine the effect of learning methods on the results of learning Mathematics for class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung in terms of students' initial abilities. The target population in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung, Lebak Regency, totaling 757 students and the research sample was 80 students. The research method used was a 2 x 2 factorial design experiment. The conclusions of this study were (1) There was a positive effect of the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning method on the learning outcomes of Mathematics students at SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung, (2) There was a positive influence on students' initial abilities on the results learning Mathematics for students of SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung, (3) There is an interaction between the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning method and students' initial abilities on the results of learning Mathematics for students of SMP Negeri 3 Rangkasbitung.
