Waste from batik soaking is discharged directly into the ground and sewers. The impact produced by this batik waste is that it causes water pollution and causes corrosion of the soil. One approach that can help Aneka Batik MSMEs to reduce environmental impacts and increase productivity is the application of Green Productivity. With the application of Green productivity we can find out the level of productivity, find out the Enviromental performance Indicator (EPI) and find out alternative solutions for improvement. Based on the calculation, it is known that the resulting EPI index value is -10.382. To increase the EPI value, the alternative solution used is to replace textile dyes with natural dyes. This dye replacement is expected to provide savings of Rp 405,375 and an increase in productivity value of 0.03%.
2023-12-13T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Prosiding Seminar Nasional Teknokahttps://journal.uhamka.ac.id/index.php/teknoka/article/view/13780 Integration Of Solar Panels With Thermoelectric Modules As A Solar-Powered Room Cooling System2023-12-27T20:53:35+07:00Nazilul Muttaqin Nauticarifky@uhamka.ac.idRifkyrifky@uhamka.ac.id
Solar energy, as a renewable energy source, can be utilized as a power generator for room cooling systems. The room cooling system receives electrical energy supply from the conversion of solar radiation through solar panels. Subsequently, this solar generator system is integrated with thermoelectric modules to produce a cold condition within the cooling system. The objective of this research is to achieve maximum heat absorption by the thermoelectric cooler in the room cooling system, determine the lowest attainable temperature, and evaluate the coefficient of performance of the cooling system. The method employed is an experimental approach, utilizing a room cooling model represented by a 0.25 m3 volume cooling box. The solar cells, serving as the power source, are oriented towards the north to maximize sunlight intensity over an extended period. The solar cell output, in the form of electrical and thermal energy, is supplied to the thermoelectric cooling system arranged in series. When electrical power is applied to the thermoelectric modules, temperature changes occur on both sides. The cold side absorbs heat from the cooling space, while the hot side releases heat into the environment. The use of a heatsink on the cold side enhances heat absorption. After conducting experiments, data collection, and processing, the overall solar cell output is determined to be 413.23 W. Meanwhile, the thermoelectric cooler achieves a minimum temperature of 24.6°C. The total heat load is found to be 416.70 W, resulting in a coefficient of performance for the cooling system of 1.01.
2023-12-13T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Prosiding Seminar Nasional Teknokahttps://journal.uhamka.ac.id/index.php/teknoka/article/view/13849Study Of Fuel Potential With The Composition Of Rice Husk And Coconut Shell For Biomass Fuel2023-12-31T09:05:02+07:00Andi Saidahandisaidah19@gmail.comMuktar Sinagaandisaidah19@gmail.comAmma Muliya Romadoniandisaidah19@gmail.com
Coconut shells and rice husks as alternative raw materials to reduce the use of inorganic energy, from the results of previous research, rice husks have a low calorific value, so to increase the calorific value it is necessary to add other materials that have a better calorific value, other alternatives as The support is coconut shell. Robinson's edge detection method uses a series of filters with eight neighboring pixel operations, while Kirsch's method uses a series of filters with more specific filter orientation to produce sharper edge responses. Paper money images were selected as research objects because they had distinctive features relevant to edge detection, such as differences in intensity on edge lines, smooth paper textures, and special patterns on watermarks. This research using banknote image and lung X-rays image dataset. From the results of comparison of edge detection with Robinson's method and Kirsch method it can be concluded that on Robinson's method the edge image of banknotes displays more detailed design elements of banknotes such as hero photographs, watermark, logo, and nominal. In the Kirsch method the bank image has a sharp edge response so that many of the design elements on the banknote are not clearly visible and contrasted with other banknotes. In a comparison of edge detection between Robinson and Kirsch's methods on pneumonia-infected lung X-rays, it can be inferred that Robinson produced a fine edge line but was difficult to find infection, while Kirsch produced a rough edge line that clarified infection in pneumonia-infected lungs.
2023-12-13T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Prosiding Seminar Nasional Teknokahttps://journal.uhamka.ac.id/index.php/teknoka/article/view/14334Implementation Of The KIP Scholarship Admission Information System With Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Implementation: A Case Study At Muhammadiyah University Prof. Dr. HAMKA2024-01-29T01:46:28+07:00Muhammad Fathan Fauzanmuhammadfatanfauzan@gmail.comAlfino Putra Laksanaalfinoputralaksana294@gmail.comNur Chalik Azharazharchalik@gmail.com
This research explores the application of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in selecting KIP Lecture scholarship recipients at Muhammadiyah Prof. DR.
