This study examines the relation between the ability to study concepts and problem solving physics to improve student achievement, so this study used a quantitative approach, correlation technique. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there is an increase in physics learning outcomes in kinematics material with a problem solving. Suggestions that can be given by teachers of physics subjects as an alternative learning method that is able to solve problems in physics learning which tend to always be associated with formulas, because it is proven to be able to produce better learning outcomes so that learning with problem solving can be applied in physics learning to improve teaching and learning process to be more effective.
Muhammad Saiful Muchsin Copyright (c) 2023 Omega: Jurnal Fisika dan Pendidikan Fisika 2023-03-23 2023-03-23 8 2 1 8 The Relationship between Digital Literacy and Science Literacy with Understanding the Science Concept of Students https://journal.uhamka.ac.id/index.php/omega/article/view/8986
Digital literacy and science literacy are literacy competencies that need to be mastered by students in today's developing era. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between digital literacy and science literacy on understanding science concepts with a sample of 36 grade 7 students at SMPN 3 Depok. The results of the study obtained a significant relationship between digital literacy and concept understanding with a fairly strong contribution of 13.72%. Thus, the relationship between science literacy and concept understanding also got significant results, even the contribution of strong relationships with a percentage of 53.29%. The results of the relationship between these variables also concluded that between the independent variables of digital literacy and scientific literacy, the relationship between science literacy has a stronger relationship than digital literacy.
Aisyah Fitriana Copyright (c) 2023 Omega: Jurnal Fisika dan Pendidikan Fisika 2023-03-23 2023-03-23 8 2 9 13 Analysis of Class X Students' Understanding of Newton's Law Material Using Canva-Based E-Modules https://journal.uhamka.ac.id/index.php/omega/article/view/9326
E-module is adigital module consisting of text and images. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of e-modules in Newton's law material as a learning medium for students. This study used a survey with respondents of grade X students at Al-Hidayah Islamic High School Jember. The sample used was 20 students. Data analysis uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, 15% of students got complete criteria and 85% of students were not complete. However, after the explanation of Newton's law material using e-modules by doing a post-test, 90% of students get complete criteria and 10% of students have not completed. Therefore, Canva-based e-modules can be said to be very feasible to be used as a learning medium.
Silfia Ainurrohmah Copyright (c) 2023 Omega: Jurnal Fisika dan Pendidikan Fisika 2023-03-23 2023-03-23 8 2 14 19
