There is no charges for all procedure.</p> Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka en-US Chronologia 2686-0171 Dari Perang ke Politik: Peran Strategis Chiang Kai Shek dalam Revolusi Xinhai dan Revolusi Kedua di Tiongkok https://journal.uhamka.ac.id/index.php/jhe/article/view/16754 <p><em>This study explores the strategic role of Chiang Kai Shek during two major revolutionary phases in China: the 1911 Xinhai Revolution, which ended the Qing Dynasty’s rule, and the Second Revolution of 1913, which aimed to overthrow Yuan Shi Kai’s regime. Born into a modest family in Zhejiang as the son of a salt merchant, Chiang Kai Shek pursued a military career in Baoding and Japan, eventually becoming one of the leading commanders within the Kuomintang under the mentorship of Sun Yat-sen. Using a historical method encompassing heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography, this study examines Chiang’s contributions in building a modern military structure and organizing revolutionary forces. The findings suggest that Chiang played a critical role in the Zhejiang campaign of 1911 and remained steadfastly loyal to Sun Yat-sen during the Second Revolution, laying the groundwork for his future leadership of the Kuomintang and the Republic of China.</em></p> Muhammad Naufal Nestahadi Yuda Benharry Tangkilisan R. The purpose of this research is to examine how project-based history learning can foster Pancasila character in high school students. Using a qualitative approach with a literature study method, this research collects and analyzes various sources related to character education, the implementation of Pancasila values, and project-based learning methods in history subjects. The results show that history learning designed contextually and student-centered can cultivate Pancasila values such as mutual cooperation, tolerance, nationalism, and responsibility. Menggunakan pandangan Bambang Purwanto yang mengkritik historiografi Indonesiasentris dan pemikiran Peter Lee tentang literasi sejarah dan historical empathy, artikel ini menawarkan pendekatan yang lebih inklusif. Tujuan artikel ini adalah memperkenalkan historiografi alternatif yang memberikan ruang bagi sejarah lokal dan kelompok terpinggirkan, serta menciptakan penulisan sejarah yang lebih adil dan kritis. Dengan metode studi pustaka, artikel ini menganalisis dan mensintesis kritik terhadap historiografi tradisional serta menawarkan solusi dalam bentuk literasi sejarah yang lebih kritis dan inklusif. Pembahasan historiografi tradisional di Indonesia sering terjebak pada narasi dominan yang mengabaikan kompleksitas masyarakat, dengan fokus pada pandangan elit dan mengabaikan peran masyarakat lokal serta rakyat biasa. Bambang Purwanto mengkritik hal ini, sementara Peter Lee menawarkan pendekatan literasi sejarah yang inklusif melalui konsep historical empathy, yang mendorong pemahaman terhadap pengalaman kelompok terpinggirkan. Sahabuddin dalam Pengembangan Pendidikan Islam di Sulawesi Barat: Suatu Kajian Sejarah Pendidikan https://journal.uhamka.ac.id/index.php/jhe/article/view/17800 <p><em>Education in West Sulawesi faces significant challenges, particularly in access and quality, despite efforts to improve it. Prof. Dr. K.H. Sahabuddin emerged as an important figure in the development of Islamic education in this area, through the establishment of Al Assariah University of Mandar (UNASMAN). This research aims to explore the idea of Islamic education developed by K.H. Sahabuddin, as well as its impact on the people of West Sulawesi, focusing on the integration of religious values and modern education. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with educational figures, santri, and people involved in the educational institutions established by K.H. Sahabuddin. Document analysis was also conducted on related works and literature to understand his ideas and contributions. The results show that K.H. Sahabuddin succeeded in creating an educational approach that integrates spiritual and intellectual aspects, known as “rasa education.” This approach not only enriches spiritual understanding, but also enriches the students' understanding of spirituality. This approach not only enriched students' spiritual understanding, but also encouraged them to adopt a modern and critical mindset. His contribution to education has provided encouragement for the Mandarese people to pursue higher education and improve their quality of life.</em></p> Muhammad Muzani Zulmaizar Muh. A descriptive qualitative method with an ethnographic approach was employed to understand the meaning and role of this tradition in the social life of the community. The findings reveal that the Wiji Dadi tradition, particularly the egg-stepping ceremony, is still practiced today. This persistence is driven by the community’s deep affection for their ancestral heritage and the recognition of Wiji Dadi as a marker of Javanese ethnic identity. Beyond cultural preservation, the tradition also serves as a means of introducing Javanese wedding customs to broader society. Preservation efforts include educating the younger generation, organizing workshops and training sessions, promoting the tradition through social media, and integrating Wiji Dadi into modern wedding concepts without losing its essential meaning. Pembahasan sejarah dengan menggunakan sudut pandang Islam akan memberikan perspektif baru pada wawasan kesejarahan khususnya Sejarah Indonesia. Belum adanya buku yang dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran sekolah dengan pendekatan sudut pandang Islam membuat buku ini menarik untuk dianalisis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti sudut pandang Islam pada buku Sejarah Indonesia Perspektif Baru Jilid 2 Bab Perlawanan Bangsa Indonesia terhadap Kolonialisme. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis isi dengan melihat teks pada buku tersebut untuk menemukan temuan baru. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah buku Sejarah Indonesia Perspektif Baru Jilid 2 telah menggunakan sudut pandang Islam pada penulisan sejarahnya. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada topik Perlawanan Bangsa Indonesia Terhadap Kolonialisme yang digerakkan oleh para ulama dan sultan kerajaan dengan berlandaskan semangat jihad. Menggunakan pendekatan sejarah mikro, studi ini bertujuan mengungkap dinamika perlawanan lokal terhadap kekuatan kolonial Belanda dan pendudukan Jepang. Metode penelitian sejarah digunakan, meliputi heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi, dengan memanfaatkan laporan resmi Hindia Belanda, surat kabar kolonial, dan wawancara dengan keturunan Haji Darip. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran ganda Haji Darip sebagai pemimpin agama dan pejuang, yang memobilisasi masyarakat melalui BARA (Barisan Rakyat). Studi ini mengungkap jejaring perlawanan yang luas, melibatkan jawara dari berbagai daerah, serta strategi perlawanan yang mencakup serangan terhadap infrastruktur penting seperti Bandara Halim. Penelitian juga menyoroti kompleksitas label “bandit” yang diberikan kolonial terhadap pejuang, serta transformasi Klender dari “sarang bandit” menjadi pusat perlawanan. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada rekonstruksi sejarah perlawanan dari perspektif Indonesiasentris, menantang narasi kolonial dominan. Studi ini menawarkan wawasan tentang dinamika perlawanan berbasis masyarakat dan peran kepemimpinan lokal dalam gerakan nasional. Secara praktis, temuan ini dapat menginformasikan pendekatan kontemporer terhadap resolusi konflik dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam konteks pasca-kolonial.</p> Nurhasan Nurhasan M.
