HUBUNGAN LATAR BELAKANG PENDIDIKAN DAN SIKAP TERHADAP PROFESI GURU DENGAN KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK PEMBELAJARAN IPS GURU SMP

Pada kondisi di Sekolah Menegah Pertama cendrung pembelajaran IPS dianggap kurang menarik, kondisi tersebut salah satunya dapat di identifikasi faktor keterkaitan latar belakang pendidikan guru. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menentukan korelasi antara latar belakang pendidikan dan sikap dengan kompetensi pedagogik pembelajaran IPS Guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional, dengan metode analisis yaitu Uji Signifikansi dan Linearitas Regresi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Populasi sebanyak 174 orang guru, disusun daftar, selanjutnya di acak dan di undi serta diambil sebanyak 44 orang responden guru sebagai sampel. Hasil analisis korelasional menunjukkan bahwa antara variabel baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama, latar belakang pendidikan dan sikap terhadap profesi guru memiliki hubungan positif dengan kompetensi pedagogik pembelajaran IPS Guru SMP.

ABSTRACT
The majority student in Junior Hight School have perception about learn of social study was not interesting, it can identification affected by educational background of teachers. The aims of research was to determine corelation between the educational background and attitude teacher with pedagogical competence of social study learning in Junior Hight School. The method used correlational method with regretion tes. The population in this research were all of teacher in SMPN Perwira Village North Bekasi Regency, with the number of population were 174 teachers. The sampling method used simple random sampling, the result respondents sample were 44 teachers. The instrument used in this research was to test and nontes. The results of research: 1). There is a positive relationship between educational background and pedagogical learning of social study. 2) There is a positive relationship between attitudes toward the profession of teachers with pedagogical learning social study. 3) There is a positive relationship between educational background and attitude towards the teaching profession together with the pedagogical learning social study.
